Digital Halide - A photographic Archive
The reason why I started this blog is because I live away from my family and friends and I visit a lot of interesting places. That way, they have a possibility to find out what I am up to.
I work as cinematographer and glamour/ fashion photographer. I am NOT an artist, I see my current work as a craft. In my opinion artistry begins when you don't have to worry about the technical side of your work process anymore.....and I am far from that stage.
The other reason I created this blog is because of what the actor Robert De Niro once said:
"The most dangerous thing about being famous is that everyone is always nice to you and that everyone always agrees with what you have to say. That's why you should always surround yourself with people who tell you things you don't want to hear"
This doesn't only apply to someone famous but to anyone who would like to improve what they are doing. So please don't hold back with constructive criticism.
